Mary A. Bewley
Mary Adelyn Bewley, 73, of Atkins, died Monday, May 31, 2010 at her home. She was born November 30, 1936, in Morrilton daughter of Roy and Mabel Laywell Bowden. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Eddie Bewley. She was a lifetime member of the Bells Chapel Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bobby Bewley; three daughters, Janna and husband Billy Mitchener of Russellville, Stephanie and husband Aaron Felkins of Hector, and Susan Bewley of Atkins; sister, Doris Jones of Fayetteville; brother, John Bowden of Atkins; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Bells Chapel Church of Christ with Robert Hearne officiating. Burial will be at Bowden Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers are Eddie Bewley, Michael Johnson, A.J. Felkins, Dalton Clay, Spencer Hegeman, Ben Hegeman, Levon Clay and Will Mitchener. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Hearne, M.L. Tester, Kurt Jones, Charles Simpkins, Aaron Felkins and Steven Kent.
