Mary Anna Barrett
Mary Anna Barrett, 92, of Atkins, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was born August 8, 1919, in Hattieville, the daughter of Nathaniel Decature and Mae Wilson Hillis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.D. Barrett; and a daughter, Susan Barrett. She is survived by a son, Jerry Don Barrett; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Dirk Lorenz; six grandchildren, Toni, Josh, Jeremiah, Mary Katherine, Jake and Brooke; and six great-grandchildren, Nick, Heather, Cheyenne, Zane, Jett and Jillian. A private graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, May 11, at Childress Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Holyfield officiating. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
