Mary McMaster

Mary McMaster, 96, of Atkins, passed away, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Atkins Nursing and Rehab. She was born August 17, 1924, daughter of the late, Othal Virgel and Carrie Travis Tyler. She attended Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church and was a long time member of the Union Grove Community. Mary was a long-term Employee of Rackley Furniture of Atkins and retired at 90 years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Mary Ann (Benny Carey); husbands, Truman Hill; Archie McMaster; 2 brothers, Bonner Tyler and Lonnie Tyler; 1 sister, Clara Tyler. She was survived by 1 daughter, Martha (Janie) Hill; grandson, Chris Wood and wife April; great- grandsons, Hunter Wood, Hayden Wood; and half brother, Bob and wife Phyllis Boyd; and other numerous friends and relatives. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 11, 2021, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Bishop officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM to service time. Pallbearers are Jeff Small, Frank Southard, Cameron Southard, Alan Wayne Crawford, Shawn Rooke, and Gary Simmons.
