Michael Shelby Maxwell, 47, of Dover, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born December 7, 1971, in Laural, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Maxwell; step-father, Doyle Ray Seger; grandparents, William Jack and Velma Lee Hosey; and a brother, R.L. Maxwell. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Seger; wife of 28 years, Tina Sanford Maxwell; daughters, Kimberley and husband Justin Williamson, Destiney and husband Brandon Teague, Amber and husband Kevin Tony, and Mikayla Clay; 2 brothers, Joel Seger and wife Felisha, and Donald Seger; 2 sisters, Charlotte and husband Jason Teague, and Tammy and husband Don Grimms; a number of nieces and nephews; 6 grandsons, Kevin, Kaden, Grant, Braxton, Logan, and Shelby, Jr.; granddaughter, Kimber; and his very best friend, James Robert “Cowboy” Rogers and wife Angela. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 28, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. George Willis officiating. Burial is in Shiloh-Williamson Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers are Chris Bittle, Tim Jackson, James Robert “Cowboy” Rogers, Lloyd Walker, Lloyd McClellan, Jeremiah Shaddon, Johnnie Ray Cowan, Brandon Graham, and Gene Owens.
