Mikel Zearl Standridge, 77, of Russellville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born December 17, 1933 in Hector the son of LeRoy Martin and Ada Freeman Standridge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vemila Jones; 2 brothers, Eulis Standridge and Teddy Standridge; 2 daughters, Debra Laymon and Hazel Shaddon; and a granddaughter, Courtney Laymon. He is survived by 3 sons, Billy Ray Standridge, Sr., Mikel Standridge, Jr. and Russell LeRoy Standridge, Sr. all of Russellville; a daughter, Ada D. Joe Standridge of Atkins; a sister, Jane Hughes of London; and his wife, Hazel Standridge of Conway. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 PM Friday at Booger Hollow Cemetery with Rev. Wylie Jones officiating. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral of Atkins.
