Morris Dwain Embry, Sr., 82, of Atkins, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born December 30, 1929, in Atkins, the son of William “Bill” and Audra Sue Arnold Embry. He was a member of the Atkins Christian Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Duvall Embry; and two brothers, Billy and Carl Embry. He is survived by a son, Morris and wife Bonita Embry; three daughters, Vickey Green, Amanda Embry, and Mary and husband Danny Hood; two brothers, David and wife Maryanna Embry and Gay Embry; sister-in-law, Alma Jean Embry; sister, Debbie and husband Jamie Duvall; five grandchildren, Jordan and wife Alana Embry, Jill Embry, Ashley Green, Joshua Hood and Cory Hood; and special friend, Helen Dimmick. Funeral services are 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 16, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Robert Norman officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers are Lynn Embry, Jeff Embry, Brian Embry and Nick Foster.
