Morris Ray Lynn, Sr., 75, of Atkins, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at his home. He was born August 6, 1935 in Russellville, the son of Elza and Marie Kell Lynn. He was a retired Navy Veteran and a member of the Russellville Lodge #274. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Truman Lynn, David Lynn, J.E. Lynn and Jimmy Dale Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn; a son, Morris Ray Lynn, Jr. and wife Stacy of Cadiz, Kentucky; daughters, Lavern and husband David Tramel and Denise and husband Josh Bull of Dover; stepchildren, Homer A. and wife Sharon Hon, Curtis W. and wife Sylvia Hon, and Lola and husband Kenny Sanders; and two sisters, Elsie Mae Brown and Doris Fay Russell. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 23 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. James Findley officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM. Pallbearers will be Bill Pinion, Richard Gilmore, Deryl Wright, James May, Jeremy Wilmott and Bryan Andrews.
