Naomi M. Jackson, age 85, a resident of Mustang, Oklahoma and former resident of Russellville, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at the home of her son. She was born October 14, 1930, at Rochester, New York, to the late Ervin T. and Naomi Blakely Hill, Sr. She was a self-employed tax preparer and was a member, for many years, of Restoration Church in Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Jodie Jackson; and sister, Muriel Albright.
Naomi is survived by 3 sons, Jodie L. Jackson of Oklahoma, Leland E. Jackson of Oklahoma, and Leonard R. Jackson of Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Ervin T. and Marilyn Hill, Jr., of Nevade; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Clark Parker of Missouri; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Elmer D. Jackson of Russellville; Claude and Frances Jackson of Russellville; Ruby Jackson of Russellville; Pamela Jackson of Russellville; and Melvin and Bobbie Jackson of Dardanelle; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Oretta Holland and Thelma and Dennis Nordin, all of Russellville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 21, at Lemley Chapel, with Rev. James Findley officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, at Lemley Chapel.
Active pallbearers will be Jodie Jackson, Leland Jackson, Melvin Jackson, Jr., Robert Earl Jackson, Aaron Duvall and Gary Pitts.
