Nettie Teeter Rackley of Atkins died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at her home. She was born August 29, 1910 in Pottsville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Dow Teeter and Minnie Morton Teeter, her husband, Bob Rackley, and her daughter, Nina Rackley Tackett. She is survived by her son-in-law, Alvis Tackett of Atkins, granddaughter and husband, Mark and Janet Thessing, a grandson Tommy Tackett all of Russellville, a great grandson and wife Steven and Catrina Thessing, and two great-great grandchildren, Logan and Hadley Thessing all of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Freddie Bowden, Doyle Cook, Hubert Rackley, Mark Thessing, Bill Laster and Jim Laster. Special thanks to Home Health Hospice and Area Agency on Aging for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Department of Health Hospice, 404 N. El Paso, Russellville, Arkansas 72801. Funeral will be Saturday, August 28, at 10:00 A.M., at Lemley Funeral Home in Atkins. Visitation will be an hour preceding the service.
