Pamela Waldo

Pam Hickey Waldo, of Conway, Arkansas, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2015. She was born on September 6, 1953, in Stockton, California. A graduate of Dover High School, she attended Arkansas Tech University. Retiring in 2014, Pam was a former Member Service Associate at Conway Regional Health and Fitness Center. <br><br>A child of God and member of Salem United Methodist Church, Pam raised her children in a Christian home, imparting God’s plan of salvation to them, along with others as a Sunday School teacher. She was a remarkable woman, who approached life with boundless energy, and enthusiasm for fitness and travel. Family and friendships fueled Pam’s joy in life. She honored her husband and held her children and grandchildren close to her heart even when separated by miles. Grace was Pam’s mantle. A big smile with contagious laughter was her hallmark. <br><br>Pam was preceded in death by her parents David and Margaret Hickey. Survivors include her husband of 37 and a half years, Glenn Waldo; three sons, Jason Hurst and wife Emily of Hollister, Missouri, Wesley Waldo of Denver, Colorado, and Adam Waldo of Littleton, Colorado; two grandchildren Grace Ann and Liam Hurst of Hollister, Missouri; two brothers, Gary and wife Deanna Hickey and Lanny Hickey; special friends Brenda, Carolyn, Argie, Liz, Jo, and Tonya, who Pam considered the sisters she never had; and a host of other family and friends.<br><br>The funeral service will be at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, November 20, 2015, at Salem United Methodist Church, officiated by Reverend Todd Vick. Private burial will be in the Churchill Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service.<br><br>The family will receive friends on Friday, from 10 A.M. until service time, at Salem United Methodist Church. Active Pallbearers are Kim Virden, Jimmy Rietzke, Jody Caviness, Wayne Gatlin, Bob Davis, and Herman Ellis. Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Love, Darrell Hagood, Larry Moseley, Charles Cochran, Michael Johnson, David Finch, and Bill Nesbitt. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem United Methodist Church, 1018 Salem Road, Conway, Arkansas 72034. <br><br>Online obituary and condolences are available at www.lemleyfuneral.com.<br>
