Quenton R. Wright Obituary

Quenton Roosevelt Wright, 89, of Russellville died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at his home. He was born May 5, 1919, son of Henry S. and Oregon Duvall Wright and was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Spurgeon, Ralph, Hugh and Frank Wright; sister, Burnell Christie; son, Bill Wright; and grandson, James Chronister. He was a member and one of the founders of the Happy Valley Assembly of God Church. He was retired from International Shoe Company and Pope County Road Department. He is survived by his wife, Edna Duvall Wright of Russellville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Hays of Little Rock and Jo and Joseph Kinney of Russellville; five grandchildren, Sandra, Faith, Billy Ray, Gail and Wendy; twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 20, at Happy Valley Assembly of God, the Rev. J. C. Kinder and the Rev. Henry Bateman officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Monday. Burial is in Suggs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers are Nathan Chronister, Eric Small, Cory Small, Wade Lay, Caleb Posey, Jeff Lewis. Honorary pallbearers are Founders, past Deacons and Deacons of Happy Valley Assembly of God. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 E. Parkway, Russellville, AR 72802.
