Randall Gray

Randall Gray, 81, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020, at his home. He was born January 11, 1939, in Caglesville, son of the late Boyd and Mary Lois Maxwell Gray. He received his master’s degree in education from Arkansas Tech University and taught for 27 years at Pottsville, Wonderview, and Hector School Districts, loved life, and especially loved spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jyles Maxwell Gray and Donald Gray. He is survived by his wife, Oma “Sissy” Gray; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Gray; brothers, Jerry (Lorene) Gray, and Rick (Jeannie) Gray; sisters, Betty Laniel and Bobbye Byler; sister-in-law, Carol Gray; and special friends, Doyle Grim and Ashley Betts. He was “Da” to Abigail Richards, Johnathan Lemonds and Samuel Roberds; and “Papa” to Dallas and Dakota Grim. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM, Monday, at Shiloh Cemetery in Atkins with Bro. Scott Roderick and Bro. Gerald Chenowith officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Pallbearers are Billy Roberds, Jeffery Roberds, Athal “Punkin” Lemonds, Johnny Lemonds, Tim Byler, Tony Gray, Terry Gray, and Craig Gray.
