Raymond McKay

Raymond McKay, 82, of Atkins, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born October 15, 1932, in Southington, Connecticut, son of the late Lester E. and Gladys G. Parkin McKay. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He loved playing Santa, and had a special place in his heart for his children. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Bill, Jim and Gordon; and 3 sisters, Margie, Barbara and Marilyn. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mae (Williams) McKay of Atkins; 3 sons, Kris Melton and wife Joy, Mark Melton, and Brian Melton, all of Appleton; 4 daughters, Donna Jean and husband Ron Kaczemeric of Pennsylvania, Jan and husband Travis Alderson of Appleton, Claudine and husband Eddie Trimmer of Appleton, and Edna Keeling of Atkins; sister, Dottie Dexter of Connecticut; 21 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 24, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Randell Williams officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
