Rev. Robert Henry McCuin, 72, of Bastrop, Louisiana, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at his home. He was born November 23, 1940, in Lake Village, Arkansas, son of the late James S. and Bertha Sammons McCuin. Rev. McCuin was currently serving the Hill View Free Will Baptist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana, and pastored numerous churches across Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Oklahoma and Mississippi. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Darter McCuin; 2 sons, Steve McCuin and wife Michelle, and Greg McCuin and wife April; brother, Ellis McCuin and wife Angel; 2 sisters, Elma and husband J.D. Chronister, and Lola and husband Ed Condley; uncle, Marvin Sammons; aunt, Erma Bolin; 7 grandchildren, Brittney, Tyler, Isaiah, Daisey, Cade, Brooklyn and Clark; 1 great-grandchild, Bexley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services are 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Steve McCuin, Rev. Greg McCuin, and Rev. Tim Campbell officiating. Burial is in Tate Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins, Arkansas. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers are Ed Condley, Jeffrey Burris, Jordan Burris, Michael McCuin, Daryl Hunt and Evan Gray. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Bell, deacons of Hill View Church, Wayne Warner, David Cook and Paul Mormon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Bridge Church, P.O.
