Robert Carr, 66, of Atkins died Monday, March 1, 2010. He was born April 13, 1943, in Ben Hur, the son of the late Robert and Iva Standridge Carr. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Joe, and Eule Carr; and one sister, Dollie Carr. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Doris Carr, four daughters and sons-in-law, Lily and Ronnie Brownlee of Atkins, Julie and Brad Newton of Vilonia, Deedee and David Hardin of Pottsville, and Amy and Kenny Loveless of Russellville; one son, Tim Carr of Atkins; three sisters, Shirley and husband Stanley Johnson, Patsy and husband Darrell McCann, and Mary Hankins, all of Russellville; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Paul Geurian and Rev. Herbert Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Ricky Ketchum, Stevie Stacy, Floyd Harris, Robert Morris, Paul Tilley, and Eric Carr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Watkins and Dusty Duvall.Obituary
