Rose Embers

Rose Embers, 86, of Atkins, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center. She was born September 22, 1930, in Texarkana, Arkansas, daughter of the late Frank and Claudia Mae (Willingham) Ballweg. She was a loving sister, wife, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Wayne Embers; 2 daughters, Gail Embers and Vicky Heaton; and 1 grandson, Nathan Clevenger. She is survived by 5 sons, Larry, Danny, Stephen, Galen and Randy; 2 daughters, Carol Clevenger and Sharon Bain; 2 sisters, Frankie Scott and Mary Moyer of Kansas; 28 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends. She will be buried next to her husband in McPherson, Kansas, with services to be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
