Rosie Patterson, 88, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center. She was born January 31, 1929, in Pottsville, daughter of the late Ike and Maureen Reynolds Brewer. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland Patterson; 2 sons, Ronnie Patterson and Bobby Patterson. She is survived by a son, Donald Patterson and wife Trudy; and a daughter, Sandra and husband David Evans; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, March 24, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Terry Anthony officiating. Burial is in Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
