Roy Lee Lewis, Sr., 72, of Atkins, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010. He was born to the late Lesley and Mary Winn Lewis on January 29, 1938, in Lilbourn, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don David and John Lewis, wife of 36 years, Bertha Mae Lewis, and granddaughter, Sarah Lynn Watts. Roy was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the Atkins Masonic Lodge 272 and a member of Happy Valley Assembly of God Church. Roy was survived by his wife, Linda Lewis of Atkins; two children, Roy Lee, Jr. and wife, Theresa Lewis of Jacksonville and Jenifer Ann and husband, Donny Watts of Jacksonville; brother, Lenzy and wife, Deborah of Flint, Michigan; mother-in-law Estelene Boren of Atkins; five grandsons, Roy Lee (Trey) Lewis, III, Brandon Lewis and wife, Stephanie, Justin Watts and wife Shawna, Benjamin Watts, and Austin Watts all of Jacksonsville; one great- granddaughter, Paisley Lewis of Jacksonville; one step-son, Tommy Moore of Atkins; three step-daughters, Tami McCreary and husband, Tim of Atkins, Tina Davis of Atkins, and Teresa Murphy and husband, Gary of Conway; five step-granddaughters, Jessica Wiliker and husband, Dustin of Atkins, Jennifer Wheeler and husband, Sean of Conway, Jamie Davis and husband, Will of Conway, Jenna Hubbard of Atkins, and Jerrica Jones of Atkins; three step-grandsons, Justin Hubbard of Russellville, Joshua Jones of Atkins, and Judd Moore of Atkins; four step-great-grandchildren, Savanna Sims, Baleigh Rudder, Preslee Wheeler, and Adali French; and seven nieces and nephews. Funeral service with Masonic rites is 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Lemley Chapel, the Rev. Michael Burden and Rev. Henry Bateman officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Friday. Interment is in Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock. Pallbearers are Roy Lee Lewis III, Brandon Lewis, Justin Watts, Justin Hubbard, Tommy Moore and Judd Moore.
