Sammy Lynn Hanley, 83, of Russellville, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1937, in Newport, son of the late Samuel Aubrey Hanley and Irene McFadden Hanley. He was a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Beedeville School Board. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, James and Raymond Hanley; and a sister, Sally Luckner. He is survived by his wife, Jan; sons, Craig Hanley, Chad Hanley, and Shane Anderson; daughter, Stephanie Hanley; sister, Jackie Sue Peacock; grandchildren, Brandon Hanley, Tori Hanley, Alec Hanley, Ryane Hanley, Kalli Bluhm, Zae Hanley, Jeffrey Hanley, Cali Love, Presley Tapia; and great-grandchildren, Evan Richardson, Cameron Marsh, Kadence Bluhm, Natalie Love, and Payton Love. He has left behind many friends and loved ones who will think of and miss him daily. Graveside service and burial is 2:30 PM, Friday, August 21, at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Bro. Shane Kasper officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM, prior to services, at the funeral home.
