Scottie M. Martin, 68, of Atkins, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born February 16, 1945, the daughter of the late Forrest and Vernie Wright Scott. She was a member of the PBA (People for a Better Atkins) and a charter member of the Restoration Church. She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Martin of Atkins; and a son, Gaylon Keith Martin and Kevin Wade of Little Rock. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 5 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. James Findley and Rev. David Bishop officiating. Burial is in Bowden Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday. Pallbearers are Keith Long, Dewayne Kordsmeier, Allan Deal, Brian Deal, Rickey Martin, Brian Martin, Jeff Sweeden and Stephen Pack.
