Shirley Monette, 87, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born August 2, 1927, in Springfield, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Kenney. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Monette; and son, Robert Monette, Jr. She is survived by 6 daughters, Cherene “Mimi” and husband Troy Strawn, Barbara Iglehart, Chris Bristol, Kathleen “Kathy” and husband Britt Conner, Maureen “Moe” and husband Dwight Hiett, and Cheri and husband Tim Abbott; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
