Terri L. Poynter, 46, of Ft. Smith, died Thursday, January 22, 2009, at her home. She was born July 7, 1962, in Morrilton, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Bill and Anna Sweeden Fike. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Fike, grandparents, Oneita and H.L. "Son" Sweeden and Ernest and Cleta Fike. She was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Stacy Crites of Russellville; mother, Anna "Shorty" Fike of Atkins, sister and brother-in-law, Roxanna and Joe Hurston of Ft. Smith, brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Lori Fike of Russellville and Keith and Kathy Fike of Havana, grandchild, Jodie Crites, special aunt and uncle, Nina and Jerry Davis of Atkins and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. J.C. Kinder officiating. Burial will be at Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM before the funeral.
