Thomas Crabtree, 84, of Atkins, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville. He was born November 25, 1932, in Cave City, son of the late Bernard Ray and Idella May Huskey Crabtree. He was a member of the Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Carl D. Crabtree and Ralph D. Crabtree; and a step-daughter, Sandra Kyle. He is survived by his wife, Flora June Crabtree; son, Robert Crabtree and wife Jane; step-son, Wayne Kersten; 3 step-daughters, Dorothy Millikan, Carolyn Kersten, and Janice Austin; sister, Lena Katheryn and husband Denny Dennington; sister-in-law, Fran Crabtree; 2 grandchildren, Robert Tyler Crabtree and Jonathan Quinn Crabtree and wife Miranda; step-grandchildren, Debra Shannon, Audrey McCurrie, Leslie Desoto, Delaney Johnson, Katie Miller, Mitchell Austin, Kody Kyle, Jesse Kyle, Tori Alexander, Martin Christie, and Rebecca Christie; great-grandchildren, Fox Crabtree, Cooper Crabtree, and Maci Crabtree; and step-great-grandchildren, Ashly Storm, Dylan Carpenter, Haley Fauber, Gabriel Shannon, Lynnz Duvall, Seth Hankins, Taylor Alexander, Bridger Lodge, Roman Miller, Deacon Miller, and Pierce Austin; and step-great-great-grandchildren, Kolt Storm, Kasey Cassillen, and Jesse Jenkins. Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Monday, March 27, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Chad Duvall officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 2405 E.
