Thomas Sweeden

Thomas Sweeden, 83, of Atkins, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at the Atkins Nursing Center. He was born January 4, 1927, the son of Ortis Lee and Reba Jane Fields Sweeden. He was a Navy Veteran and attended Sweet Home Free Will Baptist Church He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ortis Edmond Sweeden. He is survived by Robin Baker and Kenny Willcutt; one grand-daughter, Raina Lee Willcutt; two step-grandsons, Paul Ray and wife Erin Willcutt and Jeremy and wife Ann Willcutt; and a great-granddaughter, Alaina Willcutt. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, December 10, at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Chronister officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Pallbearers are Tim Sweeden, Jim Caldwell, Teddy Sweeden, Paul Ray Willcutt, Jimmy Dale Ennis and Scott Rush.
