Tina Kay Anderson, 50, of Hector, departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was born March 19, 1961 in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Nell Culwell Anderson. She was a Respiratory Therapist employed by The Right Solutions and traveled far and wide in her mission of healing where she provided dedicated and loving care to many patients. Tina was an avid outdoorswoman. Her second home was Little Fir Landing on Lake Ouachita where she loved to fish, boat, ski and socialize. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed entertaining family and friends on birthdays, holidays and special occasions. She cherished her family above all. She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Rhonda Anderson and Tony and Jeannette Anderson, all of Hector; nephews and nieces, Travis and Ashlee Anderson of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Terra and Michael Taylor and Talon Anderson; and a great-niece, Reese Taylor, all of Hector; aunts and uncles Imo Schmeckenbecher and Beverly Culwell, both of Little Rock, Shirley Weatherly and Eva Bower of Russellville, Gene and Carolyn Culwell and Sue LaRue, all of Hector; numerous cousins; and special friends Beth Dunn, Keith Marable and Ina Marable. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Duwan Mearns officiating. Burial is in Rock Springs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Springs Cemetery Association c/o David Hurley 718 E. Kay Place; Russellville, AR 72801
