Virginia Lee Greer Hill, 77, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 30, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on September 14, 1935, to the late Vernon and Dorothy Greer of Robertstown. Virginia was married to the late William Raymond Hill, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Bratton of Morrilton and Cindy (James) Bratton of Atkins; one son, William Raymond “Ray” (Naomi) Hill, Jr. of Oppelo; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Lonnie Greer of Sherwood, and Ronnie (Kay) Greer of Russellville; and three sisters, Geneva (Rayburn) Gibson of Atkins, Mariana Smith of Morrilton, and Georgia (Walter) Etheridge of Plumerville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; one sister; a son-in-law; and a great-granddaughter. Virginia loved her Lord, family and church. She also loved visiting the sick and those in the nursing homes. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Morrilton. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, June 1, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. James L. Higbee officiating. Burial is in Robertstown Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
