Wanda Helton

Wanda Helton, 68, of Atkins, went to be with her Lord on November 16, 2009, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1941, in Hattieville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Homer and Mattie Hale Gullett, and was preceded in death by her three sisters, Barbara Davis, Margie Ragsdale, and Loetta Cook. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother, and a member of Hillcrest Pentecostal Church of God. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Bob Helton of Atkins; two daughters and sons-in-law, Becki and Mike Branum of Atkins, and Pam and Jonathan Bradley of Atkins, five grandchildren, Cory Wright, Sarah Wright, Shelly Bradley, Shana Bradley, and McKenna Branum, three sisters, Nancy Huffman of Mulberry, Shirley Brewer of Morrilton, and Linda Kelley of Clarksville, six brothers, Matthew Gullett of Oak Grove, Paul Gullett of Oak Grove, David Gullett of Hattieville, Edwin Gullett of Springfield, Harold Wayne Gullett of Oppelo, and Sonny Gullett of Oppelo, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Bob Branch and Rev. Mark Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Mike Branum, Donald Helton, Jonathan Bradley, Bobby Standridge, Bennie Parks, and Bud Walker. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Pentecostal Church of God, c/o Charles Jackson, 406 NW 7th St., Atkins, AR 72823.
