Wanda Spicer, 83, of Russellville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born August 30, 1934, in Russellville, daughter of the late Murl and Angeline Peoples Dowdy. She attended Grace Chapel Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dwight Spicer; sons, Harold Dewayne Massie and Donnie Lynell Spicer; daughter, Connie Hoover Spicer; step-son, Gary Spicer; sister, Murlene Noland; grandson, Travis Dewayne Massie.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail and husband Rickey Pruitt; 2 step-children, Linda Benezwayla and Brenda Massie; brother, James Dowdy; sister, Maudie Brown; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandson.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. William Flynn, Rev. David Harrison, and Rev. Thomas Qualls officiating. Burial is in Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday.
Pallbearers are Matthew Pruitt, Seth Pruitt, Jerod Tilley, Daniel Massie, Justin Brandon, Austin Stewart, and Chris Kelly.
