Weldon Scott Edwards died June 16, 2011 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born November 18, 1973 in Conway the son of Weldon and Karen Griffin Edwards. He was preceded in death by his son, Weldon Michael Edwards; mother, Karen Griffin Edwards; and his grandparents, Alfread and Hazel Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Mary Holmes Edwards; step-son, Matt Holmes; father and step-mother, Weldon and Beverly Edwards of Mayflower; two brothers, Eric Thimm and wife Kristi of Conway and Jake Edwards and wife Heather of Mayflower; two sisters, Heidi and David Long of Mayflower and Amy and Scott Blair of Perryville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 21 at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. C.W. Henderson officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday at Roller McNutt in Conway. Pallbearers will be Bobby Sanders, Bobby Fillion, Bobby Jo Fillion, Randy McPherson, Brock McPherson and Wade McCaghren. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Holmes and Kyle Fillion.
