Wilburn J. Campbell, 70, of Dover died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at his home. He was born October 2, 1938, in Vindor, AR, the son of the late Grover and Martha Elizabeth Riddle Campbell. He married Helen Brown April 16, 1966. He was a member of the Piercetown Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen Campbell of Dover; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Wayne and Susan Campbell of Russellville; five daughters and four son-in-laws, Frances Zanquill of Texas, Rita and Phil Knight of Harrison, Alice and Billy Allen of Dover, Nora and Kevin Warnick of Dover, Sandra and Randy Apple of Dover; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, one sister, Florene Carmack of Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral service is 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 2, at Lurton Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Charles Christian officiating. Burial will be in Cowell Cemetery in Newton County, arrangements by Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers are Ray Brown, Billy Allen, Randy Apple, Dany McMinn, Carl Dean McMinn, Coy Campbell. Honorary bearers are Randy Smith, Clayton Campbell, Garland and Festus Brown. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
