William “Bill” F. Brents, 70, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at home. He was born February 5, 1943, in Cleveland, Arkansas , son of the late William Thomas and Zella Mae Bryant Brents. He attended Victory Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, 6 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Sue Brents of Atkins, son, Dion Brents of Iowa, 2 step sons, Tommy Duvall of Atkins, Shannon Beldin of Russellville, step daughter, Jessica Pompey of Atkins, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson brother, Roy Jeff Brent of Dexter, Missouri, numerous friends, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 17, 2014 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Shane Kasper and Rev. Mike Chisum officiating. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday. Burial is at Elmwood Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Pallbearers will be Robert Heflin, Eddie Higman, Scottie Crow, Garrick Lunningham, Jason Moudy, Carl Gray.
