William Carroll Griffin

William Carroll Griffin, 83, of Atkins, passed away June 30, 2020, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center. He was born June 16, 1937, in Morrilton, son of the late Gibson and Virginia Inez Kolb Griffin. He was a member of the Atkins Methodist Church and the Atkins Lions Club, served in the United States Army, and was retired from Shelter Insurance and Franks Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son-in-law, Mitchell Ford. He Is survived by his wife, Julia A. Griffin; sons, William Kevin Griffin and wife Sissy, and Steven Mark Griffin and wife Lisa; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Ford; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial is 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 2, at Atkins City Cemetery with Rev. Darwin Barnhouse officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
