William Rodney “Tater Tot” Tidwell, 60, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013, at home. He was born July 20, 1953, in Moldin, Missouri, the son of William Tidwell and the late Jimmie Nell Clement Tidwell. He was a master plumber and worked 23 years with Superior Graphite. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, barbequing, the Razorbacks, picking on his grandkids, spending time with family and building things for his house. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Barbara Bennett; and brother, David Tidwell. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Kaye Tidwell; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and husband Mike Cochran; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Shawn Tidwell and wife Daphne, and Dallas Tidwell; his father; 2 brothers, Terry Tidwell and wife Cindy, and Mark Tidwell and wife Carla; 17 grandkids, 6 great-grandkids; numerous nieces and nephews; and stepchildren, Tonya, Angela, Melinda and Donnie. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Monday, August 5, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Jim Huffman officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday. Pallbearers are Dallas Tidwell, Shawn Tidwell, Elvis Hamilton, Joe Hamilton, Ryan Tidwell and Michael Cochran.
