Wilma Johnston

Wilma D. Johnston, 82, of Atkins died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 30, 1925, in Moreland, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Dallas S. and Floy Duvall Chronister. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ezell Johnston, 4 brothers, Butler, Ed, Joe and Rob Chronister and a sister, Christine Davis. She was retired from ConAgra Foods in Russellville and attended Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Lavon Johnston, Larry and Joan E. Johnston, Randy and Sunday Johnston; a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Jim Johnston, a sister and brother-in-law, Wanda Jean and Kenneth Ennis, all of Atkins; grandchildren, Tracey Brown, Misty Huddleston, Robbie Johnston, Brad Johnston, Chris Johnston, Jeff Johnston, D’randa Johnston, Wendel Johnston, Mitchell Casto and Erica West and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Chronister officiating. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Robbie Johnston, Brad Johnston, Chris Johnston, Tim Brown, Jeff Johnston, Tommy Huddleston, Mitchell Casto, and Wendel Johnston.
