Woodene Duvall

Vina Woodene Bradley Duvall, 89, of Hattieville passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at the Morrilton Health Care Center. She was born August 19, 1918, at Gumlog, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late William A. and Betty Virden Bradley. She was a 57-year member of Sweet Home Free Will Baptist Church and was a correspondent for the Petit Jean Headlight and Atkins Chronicle for many years. Woodene was a woman of many talents and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, gardening, quilting, and working on the farm. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, A. J. Duvall; two brothers, Dewell Bradley, Royal Bradley and one sister, Billy Sue Morris. She is survived by two sisters, Nadine Willcutt of Jerusalem, Virginia Polk of Lemoore, CA; her children, Betty Regina Coffman, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Duvall and wife, Susann, Jerry Dwayne Duvall and wife, Kathy, Lavonia Roberds and husband, William Roberds; 16 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 10 or more step-great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren, numerous step-great-great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and friends. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, November 5, 2007, at Sweet Home Free Will Baptist Church with Ministers Don Duvall and Carnel Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Dale Duvall, Tony Duvall, Kelly Duvall, Jeremy Duvall, Ray Roberds, Danny Coffman, Jamie Coffman and Shawn Coffman. Memorials can be made to Shiloh Cemetery Fund, c/o Jerry Graves, 402 W. Main, Atkins, AR 72823. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2007.
