Wynona Helen Steele, 78, of Atkins, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born July 27, 1929, in Moreland, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late George W. and Adney Lunningham Taylor. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Ann Steele, and 2 brothers, George M. and Albert G. Taylor. She was of the Assembly of God faith. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy L. Steele of Atkins; a son, Chris Steele of Atkins; and a sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Charles Bewley of Atkins. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 11, 2008, at Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Walsh Duvall Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 PM Thursday. Pallbearers will be David Carpenter, Paul David Carpenter, Jonathan Carpenter, Thomas Jones, Ryan Jones and Jerry Taylor.
