Michael Stephen McCullough, 63, of Cabot, went to be with his Holy Father in Heaven on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born June 13, 1954 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Chester and Marie McCullough.
Michael was a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force where he served his country as an imagery interpreter and received many awards and decorations for his honorable service and inspired both his son and grandson to service. After retiring from the military, he went on to work for Booz|Allen|Hamilton for another 20 years as a systems analyst.
Mike was also known for his generosity, love of food, tye-dye shirts and the ability to travel thousands of miles for Shakey’s Pizza. He spent many hours at the beach during his travels and loved to scuba dive. He took every opportunity to travel and visit family and friends for special occasions all over the world. He loved to tinker and was a longtime collector of ‘fine objects’. He loved to watch his granddaughter dance, and was affectionately known as Cabot Dance Academy’s “G-Dad”.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Barry McCullough, and nephew, Timothy Burr.
Survivors include his life partner and mother of his children, Teddi Millerline; son, Joseph (Fiona) McCullough; daughter, Megan (Chuck) Hulke; grandchildren, Kay-Leigh, Kieran, Krystelle and Teddi-Anne; GREAT-grandson, Lorenzo; sisters, Gerry (Bob) Burr and Patty (Rick) Trimper; sister-in-law, Barbara McCullough; nieces, Brenda (Chris) Osborn and Bevin (Shawn) Findley; great-niece, Delilah Osborn; and many other loving family and friends.
Memorial Mass will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.
