Jeffery Lynn Nixon, 36, of Shirley, passed away Saturday July 4, 2015. Born July 13, 1978 in Clinton to the late William Clarence and Edith Mary Bishop Nixon, Jeffery was a welder by trade. During his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Justin Nixon, Madisson Matheson and Logan Luke, all of Benton; siblings Melessia Murray and husband Kenny of Shirley, William Nixon Jr. and wife Drenda of Dennard, Jimmy and wife Ellen Nixon of Shirley and Johnny Nixon of Marshall. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Monica Luke-Sheets of Benton as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of other friends and family. Services to be announced at a later date.
