Lorene Crawford James, 85, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was born December 15, 1933 in Morganton, Arkansas to the late John Wesley Crawford and Atheline Payne. Lorene was a member of Choctaw Church of Christ and a homemaker; she loved cooking, gardening and her grandchildren. Left to Cherish her memory is her son, Arthur Dale James and wife Amanda of Clinton; siblings, Betty Lou Rorie of Mountain Home, John Albert Crawford of Marshall, Mary Lois Rose of Missouri; granddaughters, Abby and Ashley James; numerous nieces and nephews; a very dear friend, Sheila McLeod and a host of other friends and family members. Lorene is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur George James; daughter, Kathy James; siblings, Eveline Crawford, Melvin Crawford, Roy Leon Crawford, Imogene James, Hulen Crawford. Pall Bearers are, Gary James, Johnny James, Mason Rosson, David Rosson, Robert Williams and Dewey Williams. Honorary Pall Bearers are, Jack Cotton and Warren Johnson. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Choctaw Church of Christ. Services will be Sunday, December 1, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Choctaw Church of Christ with Brother Dale James officiating. Burial will follow at the Colony Cemetery.
