Margie Faye Forbis

Margie Faye Forbis, 75, of Clinton passed away at her home on September 26, 2015. The daughter of Vernon Harness and Ethel (Drye) Harness, she was born on September 6, 1940 in Jerome, Arkansas. She attended the Grace Church on Hwy 65 in Clinton and was a mother, homemaker, and friend. She volunteered at Arkansas Children's Hospital, Easter Seals, and St. Jude's Hospital. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International the Omega Psi Chapter. One of her favorite sayings was "Those who bring sunshine into others' lives cannot keep it from themselves." She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ethel Harness; her husband Bob Forbis; a grandson, Michael Sherrill Jones; two brothers, Vernon Harness and Hubert Harness; two sister-in-laws, Sue Harness Reeves and Sue Harness. Left to cherish her memory are her four children Ernest Jones of Jonesboro, Mike Jones of Clinton, Mark Jones of Clinton, and Pamela Brewer of Clinton; four step-children, Shirley Reed for Alread, Robert Forbis of Smyrna, Tennessee, Jenny Shepherd of Little Rock, and Sandy Tobar of North Little Rock; one brother, Wayne Harness of Harrison and brother-in-law Ed Myers of Clinton; two sisters Floye Brewer of Clinton, Jane Myers of Clinton, and sister-in-law Freda Harness of North Little Rock along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Services will be Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 6:oo pm at the Grace Church in Clinton with Chaplin Ron Byrd officiating. Services entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service of Clinton.
