<p>William George Maxwell, 81 of Damascus, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. Born November 19, 1936 in Clinton, Arkansas to the late Oscar and Essie Pearl Isom Maxwell. William was a self-employed sheet rock finisher and a Christian. He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting and music. </p><p>Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 62 years, Anna Maxwell; children, Ebra and husband Steve Owen of Tennessee, Debbie and husband Eugene of Tennessee, Steven and wife Jennifer Maxwell of Clinton, Sherry and husband Rick Willey of Jonesboro, Sue and husband Brian Brennon of Judsonia, Todd and wife Marita Maxwell of Clinton, Mark and wife Regina Maxwell of Conway, Paul and wife Teresia Maxwell of Damascus; siblings, James Maxwell, Johnny Maxwell, Helen Harris, Rosetta Sanders; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.</p><p>William is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Vidna Cargil, Juanita Dewey, Leona Hill.</p><p>Pall Bearers are, Dustin Maxwell, Kirk Maxwell, Steven Maxwell, Todd Maxwell, Paul Maxwell, Matthew McCoy.</p><p>Honorary Pall bears are his grandsons. </p><p>A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, 2pm, at the Bluffton Cemetery with Brother Bob Bagley officiating.</p><p>Arrangements entrusted to Clinton Funeral Service.
