Doris Douglas

Doris L. Douglas, 76, of Fort Smith a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday January 19, 2019 in a local hospital. She was a former employee of Southwest Dye Caster, a title clerk for Douglas Auto, a former beautician and attended Cavanaugh Baptist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Pearl Zimmerman; three brothers, Al, Eldon and Joe Waggoner. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Douglas, Sr.; two daughters, Crystal Douglas and Sabrina Moquett both of Fort Smith; one son, Billy Douglas, Jr. and his wife Cheri of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Billy Douglas III, Chasity Douglas and Cass Moquett II all of Fort Smith; one sister, Mary Scheele of Fayetteville; four brothers, Paul Rawlins of Bentonville, Kenneth and Wayne Waggoner both of Fort Smith and Lester Waggoner of Alma. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 23, 2019 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The Family will visit with friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association of Arkansas Chapter, 1200 West Walnut Ste.2406-08 Rogers, AR 72756. The Family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Home Health and Mercy Hospice for their special compassion
