Dr. Jerry Ray Youker, 80, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Saturday July 14, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born on August 10, 1937 in Portersville, CA to David a nd Lorene Youker. Jerry was a retired physician, the former Medical Director of the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Talihina and a veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Corp as a Flight Surgeon. He is a member of the Evangel Temple Church in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents., one daughter, Chris Goldman and his sister, Linda Jolicouer. He is survived by his wife, Wilma of the home; one daughter, Becky Barker of Pueblo, CO; one step-daughter, Tresa Hackney of Maysville, OK; one son, Daniel Youker of St. Louis, MO; two step-sons, Larry and Robbie Boren both of Talihina, OK; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday July 17, 2018 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial in U.S. National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Gray Baker, Jordan Mings, Dean Lanning, Ry Johnson, Kaleb Boren, Dakota Boren and D.J. McGee. Memorials may be made to the Evangel Temple Building Fund P.O.
