Thanks Jimmy Dale Monday, 66, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on July 12, 2017 in his home. He was born on February 6, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to John D. and Lucy (Brewer) Monday. He was a former salesman for the Southwest Times Record and an antique collector. Jimmy Dale was a graduate of Southside High School and an avid lover of tennis and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joyce Dowdy and a brother, Johnny Monday. He was of the Baptist faith. A family held memorial service will be 11:00AM Friday, July 21, 2017 at Morris Cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas. He is survived by his brother, Mackey Monday of Fort Smith, AR; four sisters, Barbara, Claude-Dean Nichols and Lucille Falwell all of Fort Smith, AR and Sandra Cook of Charleston, AR and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
