Sharon Hundley Calvert, 77, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 in her home. She was born on January 26, 1940 in Long Beach, California to John F. and Jeanette (Quillin) Hundley. She was an Administrative Assistant to Governor Winthrop Rockefeller and to the Rockefeller Charitable Trust and was an active worker in the Republican Party. She was a former employee of NASA in Houston, TX and was a former skier in the Cypress Gardens Pyramid Style Exposition. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery. She is survived by her husband J.C. of the home, one daughter, Kitty Calvert of Fort Smith, AR; one son, Dale Calvert and his wife Amanda of Muldrow, OK; her brother, John Paul Hundley and his wife Ruby Lee of Fort Smith, AR; three grandchildren, James and Tyler Calvert and Kade Scott; two nieces, Lucy Hundley and Laurie Richards; two nephews, John Paul and Phillippe Hundley; one step daughter, Valerie Postier of Fort Smith and three step grandchildren, Cody, Trent and Michelle. Pallbearers are James, Tyler and Dale Calvert, John Paul and Philippe Hundley and Danny Robins. The family will visit with friends from 6-8PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
