Shirley Mae Brannon, 87, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born on February 4, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to Raymond and Margaret (Lloyd) Rushia. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Edlin “Bud” Brannon and a grandson, Ryan Johnson. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Kennedy, Marcie Grimes and Lisa Jennings all of Fort Smith, AR; three grandchildren, Layla Hardy, Shane and Tres Jennings and numerous great grandchildren. No service will be held at this time, burial of cremains will be in Ohio at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
