Tien Nguyen, 92, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in a local hospital. She was born on February 12, 1925 in Vietnam. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Truong Nguyen. Funeral Mass is 10:00AM; Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling, AR with burial to follow is Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR. She is survived by her four sons, Tuynh Nguyen of Fort Smith, AR, Tran Nguyen of Sydney Australia and Tam and Thanh Nguyen of Winter Haven, Florida; four daughters, Tien and Thuy Nguyen of Winter Haven, FL and Tho and Thu Tran of Fort Smith, AR; 56 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Rosary service will be Thursday and Friday at 10:00AM and 5:00PM at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home 4500 Jenny Lind Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
