Carol Capps

Carol Wayne Capps, 46, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 in Monticello, AR. He was born on January 12, 1969 in Dumas, AR to the late Clarence William and Joyce Geraldine King Capps, Sr. Carol Wayne was a fantastic musician and enjoyed playing the guitar and entertaining. He loved to ride motorcycles and grill out. Carol Wayne loved his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, Austin Capps, of Warren, AR; daughter, Carol Anne Scogins of Monticello, AR; brothers, Clarence William Capps, Jr. of Sheridan, AR and Theodore Bland of Almyra AR; sisters, DD Burchfield and her husband, Carlton DeWayne of McGehee, AR and Mary Edna Reese of Lavaca, AR; girlfriend and soul mate, Laura Ellis of Monticello, AR; and numerous nephews, nieces and lots of friends. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, March 6, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, AR. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, AR. Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR. In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service to help cover funeral expenses.
