Henry Walker 83, of Lake Village, AR passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. Mr. Walker was a member of Bayou Mason Baptist Church. He attended Mississippi State University before being appointed to Annapolis Naval Academy. He worked for Combine Insurance Company as a sales representative for many years. He co-owned and operated the Dairy Bar, Lake Village cleaners and for the last ten years he most recently worked at Nelco Movie Theater in Greenville, MS. He was born to the late Henry Alexander Sr. and Virginia Venora Williams Walker on August 28, 1929 in Gulfport, MS. He is also preceded in death by a son Henry Alexander Walker III, three sisters; Virginia Wallace, Mary Walker and Hallie Dunaway. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife Edna Walker; two daughters; Debbie Foley (Chuck) of Lexington, TN, Trish Fedrick (Bill) of Royse City, TX, a daughter-in-law Pamela Walker of Canton, MS, a son Joe Carl Chaney (Dana) of Sheridan, AR, a sister Ann Guerard of Mt. Pleasant, SC, thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, October 08, 2012 from 5 to 7pm at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Lake Village. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Bayou Mason Baptist Church in Lake Village with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Bayou Mason Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of Lake Village, AR.
