Naomi Lee Harkins

Naomi Lee Harkins, 71, of Monticello, AR passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 in Pine Bluff, AR. She was born in Pine Bluff, AR on November 27, 1944 to the late Harvey and Ethel Parker Kendrick. Naomi was a graduate of Star City High School. She worked as a Billing Clerk for the City of Dermott for over 10 years and was an Avon Representative for over 30 years. She loved flowers and enjoyed dancing. Naomi was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, AR.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ed Harkins; son, Mack Harkins; brother, Bobby Kendrick; sister, Norma Jean Socia. Survivors include her son, Tommy Harkins of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughters, Sherry Greening and her husband, Rob of Pinehurst, TX, Jill Stevenson of Katy, TX, and Carla Tumey and her husband, Billy of Monticello, AR; brother, Gwyn Majors of Montana; sister, Joyce Carrington of Star City, AR; grandchildren, Paul Greening, Katie Greening, Brittany Stevenson, Brianna Stevenson, Vallyn Perry, Connor Wood, Lauren Tumey, Grant Harkins, and Lexi Harkins.

Visitation will be 1-1:45pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church in Dermott, AR. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Dermott Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Franklin officiating. Burial will be at Dermott Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bus Fund at Temple Baptist Church, P.O. Box 327, Dermott, AR 71638.
